The Wendouree Dog Squad held a Christmas party last year for all the gorgeous puppies and their furparents. Some got fully into the Christmas spirit with costumes and themed treats, others brought gifts.

I love getting out in the community and photographing local events. When I heard about the Wendouree Homemaker Centre Family Fun Day being put on by the centre operators, I knew it was something I wanted to check out. We had a blast watching all the kids make their way up the rock climbing wall, and watching a few of them change their minds as they looked over the edge and decided it wasn't for them. A couple, then realising they had to go back down the way they came up, decided the quicker option was more desirable. But the best part was watching kids conquer their fears, finally go over the edge after a couple of attempts, and see the looks on their faces when they realised they had done it, they had achieved something pretty cool, and it wasn't so scary after all.

I love living in Miners Rest. It's such a great little community where people still like to gather together and have some old fashioned fun. The Christmas Carols held at the hall in Miners Rest were a lot of fun to shoot. It was great to see the kids, big and little, getting into the Christmas spirit!

Santa even got into the Christmas spirit(s)...he arrived via the pub!
